Announcement #2018-41 Texas Severe Storms And Flooding (DR-4377)

On July 06, 2018, FEMA announced a Major Disaster Declaration pertaining to the recent severe storms and flooding in Texas, with an incident date of June 19, 2018. As of today, two (2) counties have been identified and designated for Individual Assistance from FEMA. Below is a list of the currently declared counties.

On July 06, 2018, FEMA announced a Major Disaster Declaration pertaining to the recent severe storms and flooding in Texas, with an incident date of June 19, 2018. As of today, two (2) counties have been identified and designated for Individual Assistance from FEMA. Below is a list of the currently declared counties.

Texas Impacted Counties - Cameron and Hidalgo

If the effective date of the appraisal or appraisal alternative was on or prior to the June 19, 2018 incident date, an exterior inspection is required. The inspection must include photos evidencing the property is free from damage and conclude the disaster had no effect on the value or marketability.
If the property inspection reveals more than minor cosmetic damage, a new interior appraisal is required and all damage must be repaired prior to purchase by New Penn. A Property Inspection Waiver, ACE or other reduced appraisal type product is not permitted for 120 days after the Incident Period end date.
